I’ve heard countless times women complaining, saying that there aren’t real men out there, just a bunch of insecure sissies. The worst thing is that they are right! There is a scarcity of real men, all we have left is a bunch of boys hoping for a nicer life, a prettier, smarter woman, a better job… And when they don’t get any of that they get pissed, angry and point fingers to the world, blaming others for their ‘bad luck’.
Sadly, men have forgotten what being a man of honor and integrity truly means. They no longer aim for excellence, they no longer cultivate their minds and bodies, through art, music, philosophy and exercise in order to reach better, more fulfilling lifestyles. They are passive in playing the game of their lives, yet expect results without any effort from their part.
Our generation is filled with mediocre men willing to accept whatever comes their way, without fighting for their passions, without fighting for love… too scared to leave their comfort zone… And because of this both men and women suffer. Men are kept from experiencing and sharing their greatness, and their families and communities are being robbed of the difference these men could cause.
The time is NOW. There is no room for indecisiveness.
Create, be and experience yourself as the best vision you have! share that with the world.
These past weeks have been fuelled with tragedy after tragedy, and it is sad, yes.
However, we can either get caught up in the drama and argue on social media about who is right and who is wrong, or we can take responsibility for spreading love, tolerance, acceptance and forgiveness to that part of the world that belongs to us. It all starts with us!
How can we expect terrorists to stop killing people who share different views of the world from theirs, when we unleash rage, judgement and shame upon those who share different views from our own? Is it not the same root problem in both situations?… My invitation is for you to influence those around you: your partner, your family, your friends, your co-workers.
Gandhi was right when he said “Be the change you wish to see in the world.”
To all the women reading this: I apologize for what you have to deal with. We men could use your support, through your love, grace and feminine beauty we are called and held to higher standards. If you feel there are men in your life who could use this advice, please share! This may be the extra push they need.
To all the men out there: Man up brother! Be a leader! Lead the way! the days of watching from the stands are over. You have got what it takes and you know it.
