I can’t wait to meet you. And I’m not ready for you. There are some things that I need to do first. And actively looking for you is distracting me from the little bit of work I still need to do in my own personal kingdom to prepare for your arrival. I have a few more stories to reverse. A few more emotional muscles to build. A few more foundations to create. A few more gifts and talents to share. A little more ass to kick. A little more clarity to cultivate. A little bit more love to give myself.
It feels really good to choose myself. And know that the pause in my search for you does not mean that you’re not on my mind or in my heart. I just have some things I must do right now. I don’t know where or when, but I absolutely trust that we will meet when the time is divinely right. I don’t even know your name, what you look like or what you smell like. But I do know that I already love you.
